Marketplace Live- Store Policies 

Welcome to Marketplace Live! We're a family-owned local shop created to offer a safe, friendly, community centered place to buy and sell pre-loved furniture and home decor. 

 

To keep things clear and fair for everyone, here are our store policies:

1. Return & Refund Policy

  • All sales are final.

  • Because our items are pre-loved and often one of a kind, we do not offer refunds, exchanges, or store credit

  • Items are sold as-is. Please inspect carefully before purchasing.​

2. Pickup & Hold Policy

  • After purchase, items may be held for 48 hours at no charge.

  • Items not picked up by the agreed upon time may be returned to the floor and no refund will be issued. 

  • Customers are responsible for loading and transporting purchased items.  Staff will assist when able but not guaranteed.

  • ​Marketplace Live is not responsible for damage after an item leaves the store. ​

3. Selling to Marketplace Live

We purchase select furniture and decor out right.

How it works:

  • Bring photos (or item itself) for price evaluation

  • We will make a fair offer based on condition, style, and resale value.

  • Offers are typically processed same-day or within 24 hours

  • Once purchased, items become property of Marketplace Live and cannot be reclaimed.

4. Seller Booth Rental Policies

Marketplace Live offers booth space for community sellers.

To keep the store running smoothly, sellers agree to the following:

Booth Rental & Fees

  • Booth fees are non-refundable.

  • Booth rent is due once date is set

  • Commission will be taken on all sales at the agreed rate.

Stocking and Maintenance 

  • Sellers are responsible for:

    • Pricing and tagging all items​

    • Restocking their booth

  • Items must be safe, clean, and free of pests, odors, or damage

Prohibited Items

  • Weapons

  • Food Items

  • Hazardous materials

  • Offensive or safe products

Payouts

  • Sales are processed by Marketplace Live.

  • Payouts to vendors are issued weekly 

5. Safety Policy 

Market Place Live was created to replace unsafe person-to-person meetups.

We promise:

  • All transactions happen in-store only

  • No parking meetups.

  • Staff is always on-site during open hours.

  • The store is monitored by security cameras.

  • We actively screen for fraudulent or unsafe items.

This protects buyers, sellers, and our community.

6. Item Quality & Condition

  • All items are pre-owned unless stated otherwise.

  • Condition varies from like-new to well-loved and is reflected in pricing.

  • We do our best to describe and photograph accurately, but customers must inspect before purchasing.

7. Privacy Policy

  • We do not sell or share customer information.

  • Contact info is used only for receipts, pickup reminders, or seller communication.

  • Our website may use cookies to improve browsing experience.

8. Website Terms of Use

  • Website content (images, branding, descriptions) is the property of Marketplace Live.

  • All online submissions (contact forms, seller applications, etc.) must be accurate.

  • Misuse of our website or brand is prohibited.

9. Liability 

By shopping or selling with Marketplace Live, customers and vendors agree that:

  • Marketplace Live is not responsible for injuries during loading, unloading, or transporting items.

  • Marketplace Live is not responsible for unintended damage once an item leaves the store

  • Marketplace Live is not liable for loss of vendor items dur to theft, weather, or accidents, though we take reasonable precautions to prevent them.
